New Dial-a-Ride Service
Aimed primarily at the elderly (over state pension age) and those with reduced mobility who find it difficult to use traditional bus services, Greensand Country Link will offer a fully accessible, pre-bookable, door-to-door transport service across the area for shopping trips, medical appointments, visiting friends and relations, or any other reason. Transport is also available into Bedford.
The service will operate between 08.30 and 17.00 on Mondays to Fridays and journeys can be booked up to a week in advance.
Greensand Country Link is provided on behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council by Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (BRCC), a well-respected local charity who provide a range of community transport services across Bedfordshire, including the Door-to-Door service in Bedford.
Journeys on the service are available on a membership basis. Membership will normally cost £20 a year but there is a special launch offer of free membership until 31st March 2020 to anyone joining before the end of December 2018.

In particular, anyone who uses the current dial-a-ride service is encouraged to contact BRCC on the number given to establish their Greensand Country Link membership.
