The Wrestlingworth Goodwill Fund is a registered charity serving the residents of Wrestlingworth, Cockayne Hatley, and surrounding hamlets. We support several good causes, with our main one being a car ambulance service that provides transportation to local doctors, dentists and hospitals when villagers are unable to drive. We are very grateful to our volunteer drivers who are essential to this service and if you would like to help, please send an email to email@example.com for more information.
We have other goodwill activities for pensioners such as an afternoon tea and a Christmas parcel delivery service in a sleigh driven by the man himself, who also hands out sweets to the local children.
To finance these good causes, we run several fund-raising events of which the major one is the Goodwill Fete which takes place every September and we are incredibly grateful to all the people who help organise this event. It’s a very popular day which is enjoyed by everyone and has lots of activities for children; a fun dog show and an excellent display of tractors.
We also run the occasional Quiz Night so look out for the dates and come along to test your brains and win a few prizes. Everybody is welcome and it’s a fun evening that’s not taken too seriously. For further information please go to our website at www.wrestlingworthgoodwillfund.org.uk
These activities take a lot of organising and we are always looking for local people to help. So, if you are interested and would like to know more about the Goodwill Fund, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
